The Chronicles of Mary Jane: A Leafy Lament

In a land where the green buds sway,
There lived a young fellow named Jay.
With a penchant for pot and a taste oh so fine,
He’d light up a joint just to clear his mind.

“Oh Mary Jane, you lovely delight!
You make all the worries feel feather-light.
With a puff and a puff, I start to believe,
That I can dance better than Michael, oh leave!”

His friends gathered ‘round on a sunny old day,
With snacks piled high, they would laugh and they’d play.
“Is that nacho cheese or a cozy warm hug?
With each bite I take, I feel all snug as a bug!”

Then came a moment, oh what a miscalculation,
Jay took too long with his culinary creation.
A “pot” pie they dubbed it, exquisite and grand,
But forgot to add flavor, just a sprinkle of sand!

“Now listen, dear friends, it’s not what it seems,
My crust is just crunchy, with flavor of dreams.
Who needs gourmet, when you’ve got sparkly highs?
Just close your eyes tightly, and polish your spies!”

As the sun dipped low and the giggles ensued,
They rolled up some laughter, their hearts feeling good.
With each little toke, they forgot all their cares,
The troubles of life floated off in thin air.

So here’s to the joy, and the whimsy we find,
In puffs of sweet smoke, and the joy intertwined.
Beware though, dear friends, too much can ensnare,
And you might just end up on a quest for thin air!

So raise up your bowls, let the good times roll,
With Mary Jane’s giggles, we dance and we stroll.
In this leafy ballad, may you chuckle and cheer,
For life’s just a journey, enjoy it my dear!
